A Day to Remember

Vanessa and Stewart's wedding day was filled with special moments and personal touches. The couple's favorite memory? "It sounds cliché, but marrying my best friend," Vanessa shares. "My best memories from that day are standing at the altar saying our vows. We wrote our vows ourselves as a surprise to each other, and it was really sweet when our vows sounded almost exactly the same."

Inspiration and Theme

Inspired by the classic wedding scene from "The Parent Trap," Vanessa and Stewart’s wedding featured a vintage, timeless elegance that was both charming and sophisticated. From the décor to the attire, every detail was thoughtfully chosen to reflect this beautiful theme.

Overcoming Challenges

Despite the romantic ambiance, the couple faced a few unexpected hurdles. Vanessa recalls a particularly challenging moment: "Our flowers arrived late the night before our wedding, and they were all dead. I was trying not to stress, but I didn't even have bouquets for myself or my bridesmaids. My sweet husband went to multiple stores that night to find enough white roses to make the bouquets I had been picturing and stayed up late to make them all by himself. It made the day that much more special."

Finding "The One" at Bella Veil Bridal

Choosing her wedding dress was a heartfelt and emotional experience for Vanessa. At Bella Veil Bridal, Vanessa found her dream dress: the stunning Hollace by Eddy K. Vanessa recalls the moment she found her dress: "I just looked in the mirror and immediately saw myself wearing this dress to marry Stewart and I just started crying! I had always wanted a big dramatic skirt for my wedding dress and mine delivered. I just felt so beautiful and confident!"

A Strong Foundation

Vanessa and Stewart's wedding journey wasn't without its challenges. From a double-booked venue to unexpected issues with flowers and even construction equipment on-site, they faced numerous setbacks. Despite these obstacles, Vanessa describes Stewart as her rock. "Throughout the whole process, my sweet husband was so steadying for me. To sound super cheesy again, he really is the calm to my storm."

As they approach two years of marriage, Vanessa and Stewart’s love continues to grow stronger. "Life is hard, but marriage is easy," Vanessa says with a smile. And with their unwavering support for each other, it's easy to see why.
